At Craigshill Health Centre we have 6 GP Partners who work together and have formed the Craigshill Partnership. We also have a Salaried GP. Most of our Doctors are part time, therefore, will not have surgeries every day. We occasionally employ locums during busy periods and to cover absent GPs surgeries.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Anita De Longie / Jane Sharp
Anita De Longie is our Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Jane Sharp is out Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Our ANPs are both highly experienced and educated members of the care team. They are able to diagnose and treat your health care needs, including prescribing medications, or refer you to an appropriate specialist if required. Anita and Jane are part of the emergency team and work closely with the Duty Doctor.
If your health care needs cannot wait until the following day, Anita, Jane or the Duty Doctor will phone you and deal with your emergency. This may include giving advice, providing treatment, prescribing medications or giving an emergency appointment with herself, or refer you to the most appropriate health care professional as required.
Nursing Team
Our Nurses are available between 8.30 am – 5.30 pm on a Monday, Tuesday. On Wednesdays and Thursdays our Treatment Room is open between 8.30 am – 5.00 pm with slightly earlier closing on a Friday. Our nurses provide a wide range of services including blood tests, vaccinations, cervical screening, asthma screening, diabetes screening, wound care and many other services. Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner
We have an Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Practice, who is a qualified registered nurse who has undertaken special advanced nursing training in acute illnesses. If you are acutely unwell, need urgent advice, or with any emergency and there are no doctor appointments available, she will return your call. She will give you advice, will examine you, if required, or will refer you to the appropriate team member/service. This service is only if you, or your family member as so unwell that it cannot wait until the following day’.
Pharmacy Team
We have a Pharmacy Team within the Health Centre. The team will help with medication queries. Susan MacFarlane and Carol Holmes are our Pharmacists and Sandra Colquhoun is our Pharmacy Technician.
Health Care Assistant
Our Health Care Assistant (HCA) is available between 9 am – 4.00 pm, Monday – Friday. Our HCA is trained in taking bloods, taking your blood pressure and measuring your height and weight and administering B12 injections.
Phlebotomist
Our Phlebotomist is fully trained in taking bloods.
Community Staff
We have District Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors. We also have a Chiropodist and Community Psychiatric Nurse, all of whom work on site to care for your needs.
Practice Team
Ryan Addison
Practice Manager,FdA HRM CIPD
Ryan’s main role is to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and oversees the management of the practice on a day to day basis.
Ryan joined the practice in August 2017 after 4 years in a similar role in Glasgow. He also has a background in Dental Practice Management and served in the Royal Navy.

Office Team
We have a dedicated administrative team who are all here to help you. We have a team of seven Reception staff who work varying shift patterns between the hours of 8.00 am – 6.00 pm. We also have two Secretarial staff who work between the hours of 8.30 am – 3.45 pm. We also have a Practice Manager and Office Manager who are also available if you have any queries, concerns or suggestions.
