We Are Here to Help
We are still here for you and we are open to the public. We do need your help to keep the number of people in the practice to a minimum. This keeps both patients and staff safe.
COVID has not gone away. Please help us to keep you safe.
- Please do not come to the Health Centre unless you have an appointment. We know the phones are busy first thing, so please be patient and call us after 10am with a general enquiry.
- Please let us know what Pharmacy you would like your prescription to go to. We need to keep safe and less patients collecting a prescription at the front desk, the safer it is for everyone.
If you have a booked face to face appointment at the Health Centre:
- Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the appointment.
- Please wear a mask – we will wear one to protect you.
- Please clean your hands with hand sanitiser provided at the front door.
- Use the wipes to clean your chair. If you wish to use gloves, you will be provided these too.
Please do NOT arrive more than 5 minutes early. We must ensure that the number of patients in the practice remains at a safe level.
Staff Informed
The situation is changing quickly so please keep yourself safe and up to date with advice either online through nhsinform or via the information line 0800 028 2816. We will have links on our website with updated information so please check this in the first instance before phoning the practice. This will allow us to give care to those in acute need during a time of significant demands on the service.
Appointments
We provide full telephone triage. This means you will be given a telephone appointment in the first instance. If the GP feels that they would like to speak to you face to face, you will be offered a Video Consultation and/or a face to face appointment at the Practice.
Nursing Appointments
There are still appointments that require face to face such as dressings for example. We have appointments with the Nurse one week in advance.
We are already working with patients who have long term health conditions by telephone.
Prescriptions
Please ensure that you have a collection arranged with our preferred Pharmacy. This reduces footfall in the practice. We will only issue prescriptions from the practice if they are urgent.
We will stay here for you, please remember that our services will be slowly brought back in a safe and controlled way. This will involve Social Distancing. We are still open, if you need medical support, you can still contact us and please be patient.
Please keep safe
